  1. This program is designed to help you to find your way around the
  2. APDL Clip Art CD and to let you view the various files.
  3.  
  4. Click SELECT on the CDview icon and a window will open showing all
  5. the files and directories in the root directory of the CD.
  6. Double-clicking on any file will display it in a desktop window.
  7.  
  8. If it is a Sprite, Drawfile or Artworks file then you can change the
  9. size of the window from small to full screen by dragging the resize
  10. icon in the normal way. The window isn't automatically redrawn as
  11. you resize, you will need to double-click on the file icon again to
  12. redraw it to fit the new window. Because the aspect ratio of the
  13. illustration may be different from the window you may need to adjust
  14. the window slightly in order to see it properly.

  16. Double-clicking on a Text file will display the file in a scrollable
  17. window for you to read, just like this Help text.

  19. Double-click on a directory icon in the file window to move into
  20. that directory. You can then look at the files there, or move into
  21. any further directories.

  23. Clicking on the File Window's Close icon with SELECT will, as you might
  24. expect, close it, but if you click on it with ADJUST then you will move
  25. back to the parent directory of the directory you are viewing, just like
  26. a normal filer window.

  28. If you close the File Window and then click on the CDview icon with
  29. ADJUST it will re-open at exactly the same place.

  31. You can drag a file or files or a directory from the File Window to
  32. another filer window and the files(s) or directory will be copied to
  33. wherever you have dragged them.
